Here is one of the cards we made last night at my New Catalog Stamp Party! I loved the topiary on this card, so I decided to create one of my own. I used the new soft suede in color and some always artichoke for the circles. I punched out a 1 1/4″ square punch of textured soft suede cardstock and marked 1/8″ inch from each side of the bottom and trimmed from the mark to the top corner and then scored 1/8″ across the top and folded it over to create the pot.
I ran some kraft cardstock thorough the big shot with the large dots texture plate and wrapped some of the new polka dot soft suede grosgrain ribbon around it. I stamped a sentiment from the new Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set and punched it out with the small oval punch and used some twine to tie it onto the ribbon. I added a thin strip of 1/4″ x 4 behind the circles for the topiary and then used dimensionals on each of the circles.
Tomorrow I’ll show you the cute box I made with the scallop envelop die and Circle Circus!
