The top note die is still my favorite! Look at this cute little box you can make using the top note die! I started by cutting two top note pieces out of chipboard and then four out of the Candy Lane DSP. I used the tombow multi-purpose glue to adhere the dsp onto both sides of the chipboard and set them aside to dry.
To make the box I used one piece of 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ close to cocoa cardstock scored at 1 1/2″ on each side for the bottom, and one piece of 4 5/8″ x 3 5/8″ close to cocoa cardstock scored at 1/2″ on each side for the top box. To make the box, simply cut the score mark one one side in each corner and then fold the box together.
On the top of the box, I placed an oval cut out with the new Sizzix scallop oval die and some flowers from the Flower Daises #2 die in pink pirouette and riding hood red and layered them on top of each other with a red rhinestone brad in the middle. Have fun making them!
These projects were started with some of my Leftovers – elements from other projects that I ended up not using. I had originally planned to use the Fancy Flower on a box, but went with another color flower instead. So I made the card with the flower as the focus. To make the flower I…

Isn’t this a pretty box? We made it at a demonstrator meeting a couple of months ago. I just love how we ran the petal card through the Big Shot with the texture plate! The box is simply a 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of card stock scored at 1-1/2″ from each side. We used some…
