Quilts

This is the first quilt that I made for my first son. I started halfway through a class my friend and quilt teacher was having. Here is her web site. I really enjoyed learning how to piece each of the blocks together and quilting each block.

This is the second quilt I made, I like to call it my Purple Quilt. I made it when I was pregnant with my second boy. I was hoping for a girl so I decided to make this quilt in hopes that someday I would have a girl. That wonderful day came 6 months ago when I had my baby girl. I got this quilt out and hung it in her room.

This is the last quilt I made before I decided to take a break from quilt making and go full-time into Stampin’ Up! I love to watercolor, so making this watercolor quilt was great fun! I cut out 2″ squares and then ironed them onto a special fusable web. Then I sewed it to gether in strips and added some borders. It’s now hanging in my little girl’s room above her crib.

  1. Wow! That Purple Quilt is spectacular! I can’t believe that it’s only the second one you made. You’re a natural. There is some fancy piecing there! If your daughter ever gets tired of it, my favorite color is purple…

  3. WOW! Your quilts are amazing!!! I LOVE them all! My Mom is a quilter and luckily she likes to make me things. 🙂 I’ve done a lot of different crafts, but for some reason never had the patience for sewing.

  4. I am in SBS3 too. I love your quilts. They are amazing. I took a sewing class this year. I admire your work even more now. My biggest achievement was a dog bed 🙂
