Create an Overlapping Gatefold Card with a Sweet Hexagon Twist
My next project is a playful Overlapping Gatefold Card, and it’s one of my favorites yet! I used the hexagon dies from the Meant to Bee die set to create overlapping hexagons that form a fun twist on a traditional gatefold design.
These hexagon dies are incredibly versatile—you can use them to craft all kinds of unique layouts and layered elements. For this card, I paired them with the Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper for a bright, cheerful look. I stamped a coordinating bee, hearts, and sentiment onto a Basic White hexagon to tie everything together with the colors from the DSP.
To finish it off, I added some extra stamping inside the card for an extra pop of charm. It’s a sweet surprise when the card is opened and adds that perfect finishing touch!
