How to Make a Shaker Card!
Peaceful Place Suite Shaker Card
Create this fun Christmas shaker card with the Peaceful Cabin stamp set and Cabin Dies! Start by cutting out a frame for the shaker card with the largest and third largest Stitched Rectangle dies. Adhere a 4-7/8″ x 3-3/4″ Window Sheet to the back of the frame. Once the Window Sheet is secure, add foam strips around the frame. Foam strips make it super easy and quick to make shaker cards!
Then, adhere a 4-7/8″ x 3-3/4″ piece of the beautiful Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper to the middle of the card base and three silver foil trees cut out with the Cabin dies to the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper.
Shaker Card Tip
Tip – Before adhere the window sheet frame to the card base, wipe the inside of the window sheet with an electronic cleaning cloth to wipe off any fingerprints or other marks on the window sheet. Use an embossing buddy to gently wipe the inside of the window sheet to remove any static. (But honestly, I like the static. Watch my video tutorial to see why).
Next, the fun part! Add three generous pinches of the subtle shimmer sequins to the middle of the card base. Then peel off the foam strip backing and carefully adhere it to the card base. Decorate the front of the card with silver embossed trees and cabin.
