Slimline Card Gingerbread Style!

Create this slimline card with the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite of products. Use a piece from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More kit as a background. Tip – cut strips to place on the top and bottom of the card to get even more out of your Memories & More kit!

Where did the long scalloped rectangle come from? The Stitched So Sweetly dies! Use the largest scalloped rectangle to create a super long rectangle. Place the die at one end of the Basic White card stock. Then place the cutting plate at the last scallop before the end of the die so that the die cutting machine doesn’t cut the end of the die. Run the die through and then place the die at the other die of the card stock, making sure to line up the last two scallops. Place the cutting plate at the last scallop again and run the die through the die cutting machine. Now you have a super long scalloped rectangle! Use this trick with almost any symmetrical die!

As I’ve said before, I love when Stampin’ Up! dies coordinate with and cut out the images from the Designer Series Paper! Use the Gingerbread Dies to cut out the bell, snowflake, star, and ornament! Cut out some pinwheels at the same time. Stamp the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider and use the Tasteful Labels Dies to cut out the sentiment. Assemble the card and send it to someone special!
