Tag Punch Poinsettia

When I saw the tutorial for this Tag Punch Star on splitcoast, I knew I had to try one. It was a little tricky to get all the tags outlines lined up evenly and a bit time consuming, but I like the result. I decided to make it a poinsettia ornament for my tree! My friend gave my some stickles (thanks Donna!) so I decided to try them out for some bling in the center. It didn’t turn out as beautifully as I’d hoped, but it was my first try.

  1. Elaine your flower is very pretty. I did this flower as well and applied mod podge then sprinkled dazzling diamonds on it and it looked very sparkly.

  2. This is wonderful!!! I have made a couple of cards with this done, but I have plans for an ornament! I think these are just so striking!! TFS your pretty creation!! 🙂

  3. Love your ornament. It came out great. I had tried one of these and did have a bit of a time getting it all together – but it was worth it. Just a bit time consuming!
    Love yours

  4. Your ornament is very pretty! I also like the stickles, gives it a little dazzle!

I just made some of these tag stars this past weekend too. They are a bit tricky at first, but I do love the way they look. I’m using mine as gift bag tags.

    Thanks for sharing yours! 🙂

  5. Oh, I love the tag ornament in red! I think it’s so elegant and it will really show up beautifully on the tree. I haven’t tried one of these yet, thanks for the inspiration!
