Got Texture?
Whether it’s the Autumn Spice Specialty Textured DSP or running your cardstock through an embossing folder, texture adds a wonderful dimension to your project! Interest can also be created by coloring the stamp with different color markers. This first card is a copy of one from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I changed out the DSP for my own textured cardstock created with the Square Lattice embossing folder.
This card is more straightforward with texture. I was inspired by this card by Trishka. I added some strips of the Autumn Spice DSP to add texture as well as some ribbon, a smooth button, and linen thread. Tone on tone stamping in the background also adds texture.
