Vellum Flowers Card
Create a vellum flower card with the Translucent Florals stamp set and dies bundle. Try stamping on vellum for a beautiful soft look. Vellum is slippery so sure to very lightly ink the stamp and stamp on the vellum straight down and straight up without wiggling. Then set the vellum aside to let it dry for an hour or so. Or try heat setting it with the heat tool being careful not to overheat the vellum. Turn the heat tool on a little while before heating the vellum. When there is no more glossy or shiny parts of the stamped image it is dry and then use the dies to cut out the images.
Adhere a 2-1/4″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Basic White card stock on the right of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Fresh Freesia card stock. Then add a 2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the NEW coordinating Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper (now available online!). Make sure to leave a little room under the Designer Series Paper to stick the vellum flowers and leaves under the Designer Series Paper.
Use Glue Dots to adhere the vellum flowers and leaves under the Designer Series Paper. Wrap some of the ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo. Cut the ribbon and tape the ends to the back of the layer. Then tie a bow and add it to the top with a Glue Dot. Stamp the sentiment in Fresh Freesia and cut out with the oval from the All That Dies. Adhere with a dimensional. Add some Iridescent Pearls around the sentiment.
You can also color the vellum with Blends Markers and then cut out the flowers with the Translucent Florals dies. Here is a card I made with colored vellum flowers. I curled the flowers with a bone folder to add some more dimension to them. Which do you prefer? Stamped vellum flowers or colored vellum flowers?
