Shimmery Frosted Forest Card
Time to get out the Shimmery Embossing Paste to create this Frosted Forest card! The Frosted Forest Hybrid bundle makes it easy to create beautiful snow dusted pine trees with its coordinating masks and dies. Use the first two masks with Blending Brushes and Garden Green ink. Apply the ink lightly with the first mask and then heavier with the second mask.
Before using the third mask, get a plastic container large enough to hold enough water to completely soak the whole mask and fill it with warm water. This will help clean the mask immediately so that all the paste can be removed. Place the third mask down and use the long Palette Knife to spread the Shimmery White embossing paste over the open areas of the mask. Try to work quickly so that the mask can be cleaned right away. Let the trees dry for a couple of hours or overnight.
For the background, stamp the Falling Snow background stamp in Versamark on a 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Basic White card stock and then pour silver embossing powder all over the card stock. Use the Heat Tool to melt all the powder.
Next, cut a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Silver Foil with any dies that will fit in the middle to use for another project. Since this area will not be seen and Silver Foil is precious paper (Paper hoarders unite!) this will help utilize all of the precious Silver Foil paper. Then adhere the embossed layer to the Silver Foil layer. Use dimensionals to adhere these layers to a Thick Basic White card base.
When the trees are dry, adhere them to the card with dimensionals. Stamp the Winter Greetings sentiment in Garden Green ink and use the Everyday Details dies to cut it out. Adhere the sentiment with dimensionals! Now hurry and get started on making 100 of these frosted forest cards for all your friends and family!
