Pretty in Pink: A Foiled Botanical Glow Birthday Card

Ever since Stampin’ Up!’ new hot foiling system came out, I’ve been foiling my days away. Hot foiling is so magical! I’m loving it. There is something so magical about peeling away the foil and seeing that beautiful shine appear! For this elegant birthday card, I used Stampin’ Up!’s new hot foiling system with the Botanical Glow Stamp Set and coordinating hot foil die.
The delicate leafy design was hot foiled onto Bubble Bath Everyday Essentials Mix & Match Designer Series Paper, creating a gorgeous tone-on-tone background with just the right amount of shimmer. The foil catches the light beautifully and gives the card a polished, sophisticated look without making the design feel too busy. I added a bold foiled “happy birthday” sentiment from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies across the front and layered it over a scalloped circle from the Scalloped Blooms dies.
One of my favorite things about hot foiling is how it can transform a simple piece of cardstock into something truly special. The Botanical Glow bundle is especially versatile because it works beautifully for thank-you cards, birthdays, weddings, sympathy cards, and so many other occasions.
