Christmas Lights Shaker Card

I love making shaker cards! I knew I wanted to make a shaker card with the Lights Aglow Suite as soon as I saw it! I embossed the tree with gold embossing powder. Then I measured the part with the Framed Florets oval die that I had to cut away in order for the tree to fit in the oval so that no sequins can escape. I used some of the glimmer paper for the background and added some the Sparkle and Shine Sequins. I cut the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper and Soft Succulent Layers with the oval die from the Framed Florets dies (Sneak Peek from the mini catalog that is available this month).

I adhered a Window Sheet to the layer and then some Foam Adhesive Strips around the oval. I placed some sequins on the glimmer paper to the right side of where I will place the tree. I placed the tree inside, next to the window sheet with dimensionals on the back and then carefully adhered the top layer to the card base. I pressed all around the oval to make sure that it was sealed before I shook the card. We all know what happens if you forget that step! Then I embossed the sediment, cut it out with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and added some of the Evening Evergreen ribbon. Then I can shake away and enjoy all the snowy-like sequins creating a winter storm inside my shaker card.
