Double Fold Card with the Perennial Lavender Suite
I periodically go through some of my past cards and use the layouts with new products like this double fold card. This sweet card is made up of two cards – kind of like a joy fold card. Using the largest Scalloped Contours die, I folded an 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock in half and place the fold just below the cut line of the die so it would not cut through the fold.
For the flower I started by stamping in Fresh Freesia ink, then using a sponge dauber to add some Highland Heather ink, and another sponge dauber to add some Gorgeous Grape ink around the edges of the flower. Then I added some Lost Lagoon to the bottom.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the tall grass in Lost Lagoon and added some of the flowers in Gorgeous Grape.
