Fluttering Garden Alternative Card Idea

If you love stretching your kits and creating something a little extra special, today’s alternative card using the March 2026 Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin kit is such a fun one to try!

For this design, I wanted to highlight the beautiful floral elements in a fresh, clean way. I stamped the flowers across the top and bottom of the card to create a soft frame effect — it’s simple but makes such an impact!

Then came the coloring (my favorite part 😊). I used Stampin’ Blends to bring the flowers to life with soft, blended color that really makes them pop against the light background.

To add a focal point, I layered a sentiment using a shape from the Nested Essentials Dies — I love how it grounds the design while still keeping everything light and airy.

And of course… the hummingbird! 🕊️ I stamped and colored it using Peach Pie, Highland Heather, and Old Olive Blends. Those colors together give it such a soft, springy feel and tie in beautifully with the florals.

This card is a great reminder that you don’t need a complicated layout to create something stunning — just a few thoughtful details and some coloring can go a long way.
