Fun Fold Gift Card Holder Card
This fun fold gift card holder card came about all because of a 2″ piece of left over Designer Series Paper that I wanted to use for a fun fold card. So instead of scoring at 2-3/4″ for a z-fold card, I scored at 2-1/4″ so that the Designer Series Paper would fit layered on top. After layering the Designer Series Paper, I thought the smaller scored section would make a perfect pocket for a gift card!
Use another scrap – 3/4″ x 4″ for the left side of the card and a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper for the inside of the card. Stamp the leaves of the flowers in Summer Splash on the second largest circle die from the Spotlight on Nature dies. Then stamp the flowers in Petunia Pop on a separate piece of Basic White card stock and fussy cut them out and use dimensionals to adhere them to the stems.
For the butterfly, stamp in Pretty in Pink ink first and then roll the outside edges of the stamp in Petunia Pop. This is a fun technique called Rock & Roll. It adds another color to the edges of a stamp. Use the Wink of Stella brush on the butterfly and the flowers.
For the inside, simply stamp the leaves in Summer Splash ink on the second largest circle Spotlight in Nature dies and then stamp the sentiment in Petunia Pop ink. Adhere a 3″ x 4″ piece of Basic White card stock to the other side of the inside for a place to write a sweet message to the recipient.
The sentiment is stamped in Petunia Pop and cut out with the banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. Resin dots are added to the front circle to finish the card.
