How to Create an Ombre with a mask
For your next card, try two techniques in one – create an ombre and use a mask! Color the card with Blending brushes making one side darker and then place the mask on top and color over all the card stock and this creates a lovely ombre masked background. The Artistic Mix Masks have five fun designs for adding creative backgrounds to cards! I used the plaid one. There are also a shape, square, mosaic, and flower masks. Add some flowers from the Bold Bouquet stamp set in Balmy Blue and Highland Heather.
I also shortened the sentiment by stamping a portion at a time on one of the Nested Essentials dies using post-it notes to mask the parts of the sentiment I did not want to ink.
