How to Make a Pop & Twist Card
Tidings of Christmas Suite
Create a Pop & Twist card with the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set and Christmas Tidings Dies which are part of the Tidings of Christmas Suite in the Annual catalog. The suite also includes the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and some beautiful Evening Evergreen chevron ribbon!
Use some of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper for the front of the card. Add a gold foil star cut out from the Christmas Tidings Dies. Wrap some of the Evening Evergreen chevron ribbon around the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Inside of Pop & Twist Card
Templates for inside of Pop & Twist card
Above are the templates for the inside of the Pop& Twist card. There are two choices for the size of your Popped insert. For this card, I used the smaller 3″ x 10″ size.
Decorate and adhere any inside card stock to the inside of the card before adding the twist piece. After scoring the twist piece, fold the twist piece to create an arrow with two wings.
Then put adhesive only on the triangles and place the twist piece in the middle near, but not on, the score line of the middle of the card.
After decorating your pop piece, adhere the wings of the arrow of the twist piece to the pop piece. Notice that the pop piece is about 3/4″ down from the twist piece end. In other words, don’t place the pop piece all the way down into the twist piece. Otherwise the pop piece won’t fully open as wide.
