Just Add Salt! How to Create a Watercolor Wash Background with Salt!

new wonders watercolor salt

I’m going to show you how to create a watercolor wash background with salt. I love watercoloring and hope you enjoy learning this fun and quick technique. Grab some table salt, ink, and an aqua painter and watercolor or shimmery white paper. I chose shimmery white. Start by swishing water around on the paper and then adding little bits of ink at a time. Sprinkle salt over the watercolor wash before it dries and then let it dry. After it dries, clear off the salt and adhere the paper to your card base!
