Paper Lantern

We made these adorable paper laterns at our last meeting. They are a perfect project for the double-sided designer series paper and were super simple to make.

We started with a 6×9 sheet of Bali Bliss dsp and scored at 1 1/4″, 3″ and 5 1/2″ lengthwise. Then we folded the sides over and adhered them down.

Next we folded it in half lengthwise and cut every 3/4″ to the fold and attached the two sides together. We added a 3/4″ x 6″ handle on the top with brads and some 5 petal flowers to finish it off!
