Paradise Palms Watercolor Card
The Paradise Palms stamp set has great images for any level of stamper! For this card, color the stamp with Stampin’ Up! Write Markers Garden Green and Soft Suede, then Stamp and die cut the image with the Palms dies. Use Watercolor paper to create this easy watercolor background. Start by spreading water around the top left hand corner. Stamp the sun in Daffodil Delight then use a Water Painter to pull some of the ink out around the sun. Clean the brush and then spread water around the sun and the rest of the middle area. Then add some Balmy Blue to create a watercolored sky effect.
Die cut the lattice and grass with the Palms Dies and adhere to the card. Adhere the palm trees with dimensionals.
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Paradise Palms and die cut with the rectangle from the Give it a Whirl Dies. Wind some twine around three fingers, three times, then twist the middle and adhere to the tree trunks with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the sentiment on top with a dimensional.
A fun option is to stamp the palm trees on watercolor paper. Spritz the stamp with water before stamping to create a watercolored look!
