Sliding Reindeer Card
Create an interactive sliding reindeer card with the Reindeer Fun bundle, part of the Reindeer Days Suite. The bundle is perfect for creating fun interactive cards! To create the background for the card, use the Peaceful Evergreens stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green ink to stamp all the background trees. Use a Blending Brush with Pool Party ink to add a soft sky to the background and then stamp the snowflake stamp in Pool Party ink across the sky.
Stamp the sentiment in Real Red and use the Something Fancy dies to cut out. Stamp the reindeer with Memento Black ink and then color with the Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, and Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers. Trim off the baby reindeer from Momma reindeer (don’t worry, they will be reunited).
Use the Beach Days dies to create the snow bank with Thick Basic White card stock. Cut a 5-1/4″ x 3/4″ piece of Thick Basic White card stock to use as the pull and a 1/2′ x 2″ piece of Window Sheet for the baby reindeer. Adhere the Window Sheet to the left end of the pull with a glue dot. Place the baby reindeer along the snow bank and then adhere with a glue dot and trim the excess.
Adhere the snow bank with Foam Adhesive strips, with one across the bottom and one on each side. Do not add any to the top or baby reindeer won’t make it to Momma reindeer. Place the pull on the back of the snow bank before adhering to the card base. Adhere Momma reindeer with mini dimensionals to the front of the snow bank.
Now enjoy sliding baby reindeer over to give Momma reindeer a kiss. Christmas is better together!
