Sweet Citrus Thanks Card
Create this juicy thank you card with the Sweet Citrus stamp set and Hybrid embossing folder with dies! To me there is almost nothing better than fresh squeezed orange juice! Its freshy goodness makes me think of warm sunshine. Orange flavor is my favorite. Orange candy, cereal (There used to be an Orangey-O cereal), medicine…I just really love that orange flavor. I think it started when my parents took my to Disneyland when I was about 6 or 7 years old and there was an exhibit/ride in Tomorrowland that talked about the future. In one part it talked about increasing food production and orange trees were shown. There was also this wonderful orange smell thatI could smell and the memory has stuck with me ever since. So long story short, I love oranges and orange flavor.
So I was so excited to make an orange card with the Sweet Citrus bundle! I love all the fun sentiments in the stamp set. I chose “Thanks a bunch” for this card. I used Calypso Coral for the rind and Pumpkin Pie for the inside of the oranges. I added some of the retiring In Color Opal Rounds (they are on sale!) that look like little bits of juice that squirted out from the oranges. Now I’m off to go squeeze some oranges.
