Celebrate Basic Gray!
I’m lovin’ the new Basic Gray color. Ok, it’s not that new, but I had been putting off getting it for a while until I saw someone use it instead of Basic Black and I really liked what I saw! The layout of this card was inspired by Mary. I really liked the clean crisp monochromatic look of the card.
I also really wanted to try out the new grommets from the Occasions mini catalog. They are such a fun accent to add to your card! I simply placed the paper on the soft pad of the mat pack and pushed the grommet through the paper and then folded the tines onto the back of the paper.
I added two 5-petal flowers on the back and a dimensional as well. I used the new Matchbox Messages from the Occasions mini catalog as well as the Sizzix Matchbox Die.
