Color Block Card Using the Modern Garden Suite

Create a color block card to show off the sweet Garden Walk Designer Series Paper! It reminds me of when I use to quilt. (Sigh). I started paper crafting after quilting because making a quilt took too darn long! I am much happier creating cards that only take a few hours at most.

The card base is 11″ 4-1/4″ scored at 5-1/2″ and folded in half. I prefer to make “tent” cards because they stand on their own much better. The Poppy Parade layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″.

The measurements for the blocks are:

• Upper Left Block – 2-3/4″ wide x 3″ tall
• Bottom Left Block – 2-3/4″ x 2″
• Top Right – 1″ x 2-1/4″
• Bottom Right – 1″ x 2-3/4″

Then punch out a circle with the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch. Stamp some flowers, centers, leaves in Poppy Parade, Garden Green, and Wild Wheat. For the sentiment, ink the first half in Garden Green and stamp then clean thoroughly and ink the second half in Poppy Parade and stamp under the first half. Adhere to second largest Stylish Shapes and then to card with dimensionals. Add some Blooming Pearls around the sentiment.
