Vanishing Rainbow Card!
Create a vanishing rainbow card with the Sunny Sentiments stamp set, Brilliant Rainbow Dies, and Basic Borders Dies! I love cards that move and this card is one of my favorites! Now you see it, now you don’t! Isn’t that fun?
Vanishing Rainbow Card Measurements
- Start with a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Balmy Blue card stock. Poke a hole at 2-1/2″ from the left and 3/4″ from the bottom
- The second piece of Balmy Blue card stock is 5-1/2″ x 3-1/2″. Cut the top with the Basic Borders Cloud Die
- Use a 4″ x 1/2″ strip of Thick Basic White as the pulling mechanism
- Cut a 4″ x 1″ strip of a Window Sheet for the wiping mechanism. Use a 2″ circle from the Layering Circle Dies to partial cut the window sheet halfway so that a quarter circle is created. Cut away from 1″ to 4″ to create a 1/4″ strip from the quarter circle.
Here is a picture of the inside mechanics of the card. I added a little cornstarch so that the Window Sheet wouldn’t stick to the foam strips.
Make sure that the rainbow has a clear path to wipe up and down. Use the Cloud Punch to punch a little thumb hold and add a little arrow from the Give it a Whirl Dies.
