A Heartwarming Silly Old Bear Pooh Card

There’s something timeless and comforting about Winnie the Pooh and his friends in the Silly Old Bear Suite captures that feeling beautifully. Today I’m sharing a sweet friendship card featuring Pooh and Piglet strolling together beneath a grand tree, paired with the sentiment:

“Old friends are the best friends.”

This card celebrates the kind of friendships that grow stronger with time—the friends who know your stories, share your memories, and walk beside you through every season of life.

For this design, I used one of the woodland scenes using the beautiful storybook-inspired imagery from the Silly Old Bear Designer Series Paper. The large tree creates a nice focal point while Pooh and Piglet add a touch of nostalgia and warmth. I framed the scene with an embossed layer using the Hundred Acre Wood Embossing Folder and the Sweet Words & Labels dies allowing the artwork to peek through and draw the eye directly to the characters.

The soft color palette helps maintain that classic Pooh feel while the added embellishments provide just enough sparkle and dimension. The sentiment banner is layered over the scene, making it the perfect finishing touch for a card that celebrates friendship.
