Pooh Bear Fun Fold Card with the Silly Old Bear Suite
There’s something timeless and heartwarming about Winnie the Pooh, and the new Silly Old Bear Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! captures that charm perfectly! Today I’m sharing a sweet fun fold card featuring Pooh floating along with his signature balloon, surrounded by the beautiful woodland scenes from the coordinating Designer Series Paper.
One of my favorite things about this suite is how thoughtfully everything works together. The two coordinating bundles make creating cards incredibly easy because they not only stamp and cut the adorable Pooh images, but they also coordinate with the Designer Series Paper, allowing you to die cut many of the images and scenic elements directly from the paper. This opens up so many creative possibilities and makes card-making quick and fun!
For this card, I used a unique fun fold design that showcases both the charming woodland background and the focal image of Pooh holding onto his balloon. The decorative label creates a beautiful frame for the artwork, while the coordinating ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch.
When opened, the card reveals a second decorative panel with the sentiment:
“It never hurts to keep looking up.”
I love how this uplifting sentiment pairs perfectly with Pooh floating toward the sky. It’s a wonderful reminder to stay hopeful and positive, making this card perfect for birthdays, encouragement, friendship, or just because.
The rich woodland tones combined with the soft watercolor sky create a classic storybook feel that fans of Pooh will instantly recognize. By combining the coordinating Designer Series Paper with the matching bundles, you can effortlessly create layered scenes that look detailed without requiring extensive coloring or fussy cutting.
