Radiant Sunflowers Happiness Card
There’s just something about sunflowers that instantly makes a card feel happy! 🌻 This sunflowers card is filled with warm color, beautiful layers, and lots of gorgeous details using Stampin’ Up!’s Sunflower Fields Suite and Radiant Sunflowers Bundle.
The Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper really does so much of the work on this card. I paired the large sunflower print with the coordinating plaid pattern along the bottom, giving the card plenty of interest before adding any stamping at all.
For the focal point, I layered Golden Glow and Mossy Meadow cut outs from the Beautifully Celebrated Dies behind the stamped sunflower bouquet. The flowers were colored in Golden Glow, Pecan Pie, and Old Olive.
The sentiment, “Wishing You so much Happiness,” is perfect for so many occasions. This could easily be used for a birthday, congratulations, encouragement, or simply to send a little happiness to someone who needs it.
I also added texture with the Plaid embossing folder to the Golden Glow behind the sentiment and finished everything off with a few sparkly embellishments. Those little touches make such a difference!
And of course, I couldn’t leave the inside plain! I added another strip of the plaid Designer Series Paper along the bottom along with the simple “ENJOY” sentiment and a few sweet little stamped butterflies. It ties the inside beautifully to the front while still leaving plenty of room for a handwritten message.
One of my favorite things about this card is how many different patterns and layers come together without taking attention away from those gorgeous sunflowers.
