How to Make a Buckle Card

Sneak Peek: Eden’s Garden

Create this buckle card with the Sneak Peek Eden’s Garden stamp set and Eden Dies from the upcoming January catalog! This fun buckle card is easy to make and fun to open! Start with an 8-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of card stock and scored at 2-3/4″. Then decorate with some Designer Series Paper and cut out the third largest Stitched Rectangle with Gold Foil paper. Next layer a piece of Evening Evergreen 8″ x 2-5/8″ scored at 4″ on top of the gold foil. Use this piece to measure where to place the long rectangle die from the Cloche dies to cut the slot for the buckle.

Remember when you are stamping or embossing images or a sentiment to measure where the buckle will be so that some of the image is not cut off by tucking it under the buckle. Lastly, tamp the lovely bunch of leaves and cut out, then add some of the Gilded Gems for more bling!

I tried something different and instead doing a FB Live and then creating separate videos for each card, I did a YouTube Live where I show how to create all the cards in my card kit – a pull card, edgelit card and buckle card. What do you think? Which way do you like better?
