Create an Elegant Christmas Lights Card
For some reason, I’ve been so excited to make Christmas cards and decorate for Christmas earlier than I usually do. After Halloween I was ready to dive right into Christmas decorating and creating! I put up the Christmas lights right after Halloween and I’ve been slowly getting the Christmas decorations out and planning all of my new decorating additions this year! So I was super excited to start playing with the Christmas Lights Aglow Suite! It is the collection featured on the cover of the Mini Catalog! At one of the Stampin’ Up! virtual events, we saw a video where the designer explained how she created the suite of products! I love that all the images and dies were created from dots! The snowflakes, the tree…all made up of little dots!
For this Christmas Lights card, I wanted to show off some of the Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper, Glimmer Paper, Pearls, ribbon… It was hard not to keep adding more bling to the card because it is all so pretty and I love bling, shimmer, and shine! I trimmed an inch off the front of the card so that I could show off some more Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper. I embossed the sentiment – I felt like I had to, otherwise it would feel too plain with all the surrounding shimmer! And I added some of the Festive Pearls (love them) and Fold & Vanilla Satin-Edged Ribbon.
