Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards
The Hearts for You Paper Pumpkin kit cards are so pretty! I love all the cards but I still had to make some alternate ones as well! I showed and created these cards on my weekly Sweet Stampin’ LIVE last week.
To start, I almost always cut the cards with designs on front and back in half and then add them to a card stock base. This first card shows how to turn the row of hearts upside down to create a row of scallops! Instead of the red striped card base, I used the pink marbled card base to switch it up! It’s simple but adds a few nice touches to the original.
Here are a few of the alternate cards using the kit materials. For the first card I used the pink swirl card and two of the hearts with a sentiment from the Hearts of Elegance stamp set. On the second card, I used the back of the envelope for the top of the card and another sentiment from the Hearts of Elegance stamp set. Yes, I also cut up the envelopes too! For the third card, I used the front side of the envelope and the Nested Essentials dies to cover the white address area. I added some white glimmer paper behind the heart to make it sparkle and shine. Which of these three cards is your favorite?
