Three Creative Ways to Use Designer Series Paper with the Gathering Together Suite

Designer Series Paper (DSP) is one of my favorite crafting essentials, and the Gathering Together Suite makes it even more fun to play with! For this card, I tried three creative techniques to make the DSP shine.

✨ 1. Embossing on DSP
Instead of embossing plain cardstock, I ran a piece of Designer Series Paper through the coordinating embossing folder. I love how the texture matched perfectly with another DSP pattern I used for the background—it adds so much dimension!

🍁 2. Fussy Cutting Elements
Sometimes the paper itself is the best embellishment. I cut one of the large leaves directly from the DSP and layered it onto my card for a bold focal point. No stamping required!

🎨 3. Coordinated Stamping & Embellishing
To tie it all together, I stamped additional leaves in colors pulled straight from the DSP palette. A few Cajun Craze and gold dots were the perfect finishing touch—just the right amount of sparkle.
