Fragrant Layers Offset Gatefold Card

If you love fun fold cards with a wow factor, this offset gatefold design is such a fun one to create! Today’s card features the beautiful Fragrant Layers Bundle paired with the Beautifully Celebrated Labels Dies for a fresh, spring-inspired look.

I chose a bright and cheerful color combination of Strawberry Slush (which is reitirng) with Old Olive and a pop of ribbon to tie everything together (literally!). The offset gatefold layout gives this card a unique opening style, making it extra special for the recipient.

For the focal point, I layered the decorative label dies from the Beautifully Celebrated dies (my new favorite dies!) and stamped the floral image in Strawberry Slush & Old Olive. Then I added some dimension with a popped-up flower accent and a few enamel dots for texture and shine. The sentiment banner across the front helps anchor the design while still letting those gorgeous florals shine.

Inside, I kept things clean and simple with coordinating stamped flowers in the corners and a sweet “It’s Your Day!” sentiment—perfect for birthdays or any celebration.

This card is a great reminder that with just a few layers, some thoughtful details, and a fun fold, you can create something truly special. If you haven’t tried an offset gatefold before, I highly recommend giving it a go—it’s easier than it looks and so impressive!
