Turn Your Kit Into Wow! Floating Panel Card with Inked Occasions
My April Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin kit arrived earlier than expected, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! I’ve already started creating some fun alternative cards, and this floating panel design is one of my favorites so far.
To create it, I cut out the center of the card front and added a panel from another card across the gap to hold the bottom portion in place—such a cool effect! The alcohol ink design from the envelope was too pretty not to use, so I repurposed it for the inside of the card for an extra pop of color and texture.
I also used the Hugs Abloom add-on dies to cut out the large flower and gold leaves, which added the perfect dimension. And can we talk about those tiny butterflies from the stamp set? I’ve been stamping them on everything lately—they’re just too cute! The Brushed Brass Butterflies were the perfect finishing touch, blending right in with the stamped ones and adding a bit of shimmer.
